At Harp Design, we believe that thoughtful design can change how a space feels and how people feel within it. Sometimes, the most valuable spaces are those that give us room to slow down, reconnect and breathe.

That is why we are so excited to be curating The Reset at Cedar Hall, a retreat in the Essex countryside that brings together nature, wellbeing and considered design.

A retreat with purpose

The Reset is being shaped around a simple idea: giving people time and space to step away from everyday demands and focus on what matters to them.

Whether that means reconnecting with yourself, spending meaningful time with others or bringing a team together, our vision is to create a welcoming setting where you can settle in and feel at ease.

Comfortable bell tent accommodation, open skies and shared spaces will form the backdrop to experiences centred on rest, movement, reflection and connection.

Bringing the Harp Design approach outdoors

Curating The Reset gives us the opportunity to bring our design approach into a different kind of environment.

We are considering how guests will move through the site, where they will gather and where they can find a quiet moment. From the feel of the accommodation to the places people sit, talk and unwind, each choice helps shape the experience.

Our aim is to create a retreat that feels comfortable, grounded and connected to its surroundings, with natural textures and thoughtful details that invite guests to relax.

Alongside individual wellbeing experiences, The Reset is being developed as a place for teams to come together away from their usual working environment.

There is something powerful about changing the setting. Stepping outside the office can create room for fresh conversations, shared experiences and a different perspective.
