The launch of Teatime in Bradford marks the beginning of something much bigger than a single site.
Located in the heart of the city, this new café concept brings together a diverse, all-day food and drink offer — from breakfast through to desserts and speciality drinks — designed to appeal to a wide and fast-moving customer base.
But this project was never just about one location.
From the outset, the focus was on creating a repeatable, scalable design model — a space that feels welcoming and energetic, while being efficient to operate and easy to roll out across multiple sites.
Designing for Growth
Teatime is a brand with ambition.
That meant the design needed to:
Work for high footfall and fast turnover
Be durable and cost-effective
Maintain a consistent identity across locations
Create an environment people want to return to
Every decision — from layout to materials — was made with replication in mind.
More Than a Café
This isn’t just a coffee shop.
It’s a space designed to handle:
All-day dining
Social meetups
Quick visits and longer stays
The variety of the menu reflects this, with everything from light bites to indulgent desserts and speciality drinks, creating a flexible and inclusive offer.
The Bigger Picture
Teatime Bradford is the first of many.
And that’s where the real value of design comes in — not just creating a great-looking space, but building something that can grow, adapt, and perform commercially over time.
Because great hospitality design isn’t about one venue.
It’s about creating a concept that works again… and again… and again
